Man so today i went to get an alignment and on the the drive way out i scrape my BBK ooff road x pipe on the drive way out. I have FRPP C springs but the main culprit was my friends install cuz it was hanging suuper low. I scraped so bad my car sounded completely different.

Huge exhaust leak, man did it sound ugly. So i call a couple muffler shops and find one near by to reinstall my stocker. Wow my car sounded super quiet. Stock catback BTW. Well i did notice that the car felt smoother but i wanted to see the power difference.

I get on a straight away and it felt like my car was castrated. It didnt even chirp the 1-2 shift. Gosh but man it feels good not having that drone and the ugly exhuast note as before.

Moral of the story:

Get a decent mid pipe and make sure it gets properly installed.

How did he install it to hang low? isolators? i scrape w/ my c-springs on large speed bumps and high angle drive ways from the street but thats it. I agree w/ the stocker sounds and feeling smoother tho - felt the same way when i smogged mine. Glad to hear you got the springs in tho:nice:

The x pipe was hanging low way before the c springs were installed, i dont know how it sagged. it might of been a issue cuz i heard of it being one on BBKs or just my buddy didnt do a good job on the install.

But fells good, maybe get better gas milage from it tso that is a plus.

oh the pipe, im sure it's installed correctly. My SLP hangs quite low too - it's better than the SN95's 6 cats tho

My brother just threw a BBK on his and has the same problem, hangs low. He reinstalled it while pushing up on everything before tightening and still has the same problem. I've got a Bassani catted x-pipe and it fits up nice and tight, sounds good too, no drone.

I scrape my UPR like its what its purpose is.

It also leaks, and im not 100% sure from where. But I noticed a nice difference from the stock H to a catless mid.

Before I couldnt burn 2nd on a hard shift, after the X I had to get used to fighting the rear end trying to squirm around.

I sold my lovely 6 cats on my stock H to a junkyard :D Someone told me they bought used cats for $10 a piece (sells them for $30) so I brought my stock H down there :rlaugh: I was going to just throw it away :nice:
