Gospeedgo

I hope your asking like a degree question...cause orientation should be fairly obvious :rlaugh: I would say install it straight up.

As far as the idle problem..SOOOO many things to consider on a fresh install...let alone one that had the wiring messed with. This is where you start thinking about anything that could have went wrong when re-wiring and get back to me. You may end up needing to backprobe the wires and make sure everything got pinned correctly.

The wireing i think is ok. I dont have the plugs(smog) in the back of the heads yet i will in the morning could that be a big part of the problem? Yes i ment degree. The IAC is whistle like a mofo i think i need a new one or can i just block it off? I plan too bring it by maybe tommorow or friday. I just need to get it good enough to drive there.

You just helped answer your own question on that one. Get that stuff dealt with and get back to us!

Dont block it off...get a new one if the whistle bothers you...but check for other sources of the whistle and make sure you arent hearing a vacuum leak. Check the EGR plate you made also, make sure there is no leak there. Spray a bit of brake clean around and see if it rev's up...that will help to find the air leak. I bet what your hearing isnt really the IAC (although it IS possible, as they dont like to be cleaned)

By the way I didnt take the pins out i cut the wires then re soldered them to the colored match wires from the same seperate string of wires. Im pretty sure thoes are ok. By the way No check engine light thanks for the egr sensor trick. :D
So what's this no check engine light trick from not reinstalling an EGR? I'm having the same deal with mine since i deleted it as well. What do you use a jumper wire to make it think there is one in there? peace
