I'm signing a lease on May 1st to move into a house here in Savannah with 2 other guys for next school year. I'm going to be building a lot of my furniture for my room including a desk, my bed frame, and a nightstand. Here's what I need from you guys:

I don't have a lotta money so I'm basically looking for peoples parts they don't want. I'm looking for (2) preferribly 17" or 18" wheels in decent shape (or at least one of them in decent shape), and an old drilled/slotted rotor thats shot. I'm gonna make a night stand out of 2 wheels stacked on top of each other. I'm gonna weld the rotor behind the top wheel, then weld the 2 wheels on top of each other. Then I'm gonna get a piece of round glass to go on top. Like I said, I don't have a lotta money and this is not a want-ad. This is a "give me your crap" ad. Mod's, if this is not allowed, thats fine, get rid of it. I just want peoples help with building this...I'll gladly pay for shipping, or even a few dollars for the wheels, just lemme know what you have...thanks guys!!

Here's a terrible sketch i did in 10 seconds...

man, i just ditched my old cross drilled rotors a few weeks ago. I dont know if i can help with the wheels, but I work for my old man who owns an auto repair shop here in S.C so if we get anything in that has drilled or slotted rotors on it being replaced i will set them off to the side and let you know. Ive seen this done a few times, it always looks really cool. If i was still livin in a bachelor pad I would def. do it, but I dont think the fiance is gonna go for my old parts layin around the house (especially since i already have my new parts accumulating in the house lol)

Thanks a lot man, that would be awesome! Yea I know I'm kinda going out on a limb here asking for free wheels, but hey it can't hurt right? The worst that can happen is I don't get them. I don't think I'm being unreasonable.

I have a pair of GT rotors that are drilled. Though, they were plain rotors drilled out by a mechanic. I was going to use one of them to make a clock. You can have the other one for your night stand.
