I just went out to try and start my dad's GT. It had a rough time starting. When it did, it was running very rough so I shut it down. I popped the hood and smelled something burning. Everything looked ok, and the oil was clean. I noticed the overflow bottle for the coolant was a little low. Anybody have any ideas? It was about 13 degrees yesterday and right around freezing today.

I've always had a problem starting my car up when it's cold. It runs really rough and sometimes wants to shut off... but when it was about to stall, I just gave it a little gas and it idled up fine from then on. I tuned it up with new plugs, wires, rotor, cap, and cleaned the filter and it seemed to do the same thing. Mine's been like this since I've got it pretty much... about 3 years

Thanks for the info. I knew I could count on another cold weather stanger. I still don't get the burning though. I was not able to look under the car while it was running, but my guess is one of the accesories froze and the belt was slipping. Does anyone else have any experience they can tell me?
