so far so good, they are totally lighter than the stock one and the crank is so much smaller. The fit and finish is really great. I think i can feel a little boost, especially in the upper rpms around 3600-5100. I dont know if its me lying to myself or wat so im gonna probibly take it to the track and see how much it nets me.

mid 14s from 15.2 with x pipe and pullies? i just put an x pipe on with stock exhaust and didnt notice any real gain (cept the sweet exhaust note when i stomp on it)
after i get a catback and some pullies i want to save up for a full transmission upgrade

btw, did you do your headers? How hard was the install? I thought I read doing headers made a loss of power on stock engine

I think your car can run much better than a 15.2. With your 3000 stall and 4.10 gears, you should be coming out of the hole getting somewhere close to a 2.0 60'. With that being said, if you are getting bad 60' due to spinning, work on getting your tires to hook. However, your MPH is about where a 15.2 would put you... just out of curiosity, what was your 60' on that best run?? Good luck at the track!

well i didnt put the headers in my dad did, and he put them with the fipk and the cat-back and he said he felt a differnce.before my gears and tq converter i ran a 15.74 with my car cooled down for over 45 min (icing the manifold). after the frist run that day i was running 16.0-16.5. WHen i went to the track last time i ran a 15.2 right off the bat With a 2.28 60, at the end of the day i ran 15.3 wit a 2.19 60 but my car was out of steam by then any way it was my 6th run. i wasnt spinnign at he track either

Good to hear Garrett. ASP's are by far my favorite pulleys and were one of the BEST bangs for the buck I have ever done to the car. I dropped a solid 3 tenths and picked up 3+MPH with them, so the pulleys alone should have you solidly into the 14's. I've been running mine since '98 with NO problems what-so-ever.

Yes. I run the crank, water pump, and alt. pulley. I have had ZERO charging problems. The lights go dim below 800rpms, but they are back at full brightness by 900rpms. I have no idea why people are afraid of running the alt pulley.

Ah, I've got you now, it's a typo. I thought that maybe some kits came with a power steering pulley or something as well.

those that have no charging problems, do you do mostly highway or city driving? maybe the ones with probs are doing lots of city driving (therefore idling at lights alot)
?
