I don't think thats TOO bad, considering all you have is full exhaust and a CAI in the power department.

Yeah, those numbers look perfectly fine for a car with a stock h/c/i. What were you expecting?

don't most bone stock fox bodies dyno at around 190? I think i've heard of some dyno'ing around 200-210, but I guess it could just be the dyno... My guess was 210-220 as well

stock 5.0's dyno usually about 185-195. on a stock/mostly stock motor, its not unheard of for a 5.0 to LOSE power with headers, unless they are 1 1/2 in.

I think you may have been guessing more along the lines of flywheel HP? The engine totally stock put out 225 HP.........at the flywheel. With a 15% parasitic loss to the rear wheels (assuming manual tranny), 190 is about what you should end up with.

Sounds about right. I put down 237 hp and 278rwtq with my Cobra motor and full exhaust.

he's not bone stock. I would think the cold air intake and flowmasters would be worth at least 15-20 rwhp, but I guess not. He's also got an ignition set up, so wouldn't that allow it to burn better, thus helping produce max hp? I don't know, but the dyno isn't lying. I bet before the mods, it would have dyno'd low...175ish. Have you checked compression by any chance? It doesn't seem like a big deal and I wouldn't worry about it, but it would be kinda nice to know that you're pushing good compression

That looks right about where it should be. Most cars with your minor mods dyno in the 190-200 HP ±5 and torque comes in at 260-270 lbs-ft ±5.

I dynoed at 210RWHP and 270 RWTQ and I had BBK Headers, O/R H pipe and 2 chamber flows along w/ Underdrive Pullies and a removed air silencer and bumped timming. Thats about all I had for power mods. W/ the C&L 76MM Mass air system and the cobra Intake I picked up another 21 RWPH and 15 FT LBS TQ

That is about right dude. My 88 bone stock with old exhaust, original spark plugs and wires, air silencer on car, original air box and filter, and stock timing... I dynoed at 202RWHP, and 280RWTQ. But I am Speed Density

Dynos are not an exact science and each type is different. Take it to the track and look closest at your trap speeds.
