Until I get a Pro-M Meter I just decided to get a diffrent sampleing tube for my C&L to compensate for my Injector change. I have a C&L 76MM MAF System on the car calibrated for #19, Im upgrading to #30 once myself and a friend bolt on the new mods. I made an order from Mustangs Unlimited for part # CL103 which is a #30 sampeling tube. After I got the order yesterday ( which also included my Guage pod and Edelbrock 70MM TB ) I noticed that the order description for part # CL103 was for an 86/93 5.0 w/ a 73MM MAF and 30LB Injectors. Even though its for a 86/93 w/ a 73 MM MAF and I have a 76MM for a 95 will the sampeling tube still work granted that it is a 30LB Sampleing tube? Mustangs Unlimited dident mess up or send me the wrong part, its just that there item description in the mag is not very clear on what MAF system it is for. So am I all set or am I going to have to send this back? Thanks

~TM

As long as you have the sample tube for 30# injectors, you should be fine. The 76 mm mass air meter just flows more air, but as for the elctronics, its all the same. As long as you run 30# injectors with the 30# sample tube, it should be all good.

ok cool thats pretty much what I was thinking but when I saw 86/93 for 73MM I was like b/c I know alot of the 93 parts are diffrent from the 95 parts. I do want go get a pro-M but dident have the money for one after the puchase of all my other mods so throwing down $30 for a new sampeling tube was not a big deal. I'll sell the whole MAF system w/ the 30LB tube at some point once I can get a Pro-M

It's good to see Edelbrock's name rather then BBK's.

100% WRONG!!! You need the tube for a 76mm maf, its DIFFERENT for a 73mm maf. Return it and get the proper tube for 95GT with a 76mm maf for 30's. You have the incorrect tube and it WILL NOT WORK!!

ahh , that sucks when some people say it will work and others say that it wont, oh well I'll just give Mustangs Unlimited a call and find out for sure so dont get when I go to start up the car and it runs like crap.

Sorry you were 100% wrong, the car runs MINT!! As long as its calibrated for the right injectors then it will work fine, the size of the mass air meter has nothing to do w/ the sampleing tube.
