Allrighty.. I hooked the truck up to a scanner today and got some codes pulled. I referenced them but their actual meaning and how it pertains to the engine are a little cryptic. Was hoping some folks may be able to shed a little light on them for me.

Key On, Engine Off -

157 MAF Circuit below minimum voltage. - My trucks volt meter is reading just fine so I know I have enough voltage from the battery and alternator. Would this indicate a failed, or failing MAF sensor?

Key On, Engine On -

116 ECT >or< expected. - I have no idea..

311 Air Injection System Inop. Bank 1. - Again.. No idea. I was thinking that this could be in reference to my horribly rigged intake tube (have the proper stuff ordered but its gonna be a week or more.) or maybe its a sideeffect of the MAF issue it picked up earlier.

225 Knock not sensed during dynamic test. - No clue..

632 TCS Did not change states. - No clue..

Towards the end of the test I also got a "PCM not responding" error several times. Not sure what that was all about.

Those were the only codes it would throw. I got the timing in order and everything but the truck has a hitching idle and just sounds a little.. Bleh. I havent had a chance to get it on the road and see if it feels any better under load or not though. I'm hoping the current issues with the truck are related to those codes in one way or another because everything else seems to be functioning just fine other than the fact Im running so rich the exhuast will damn near kill you.

OK, first off...
Dont worry about the 116, means it wasnt warm enough for the test being performed.
225... means you didnt go WoT during its dynamic response test, you had to go into WoT during the Key On, Engine Running test, you should most likely ignore this code aswell.
632...You didnt turn on/off your overdrive (O/D) cycle button, you should ignore this code aswell.

These 3 codes are basically operator error problems, so you shouldnt worry about them.

Now.. the 157. Is most likely the MAF sensor itself or the MAF sensor connector pins not making good contact.
I am not that good on diagnosing AIR injection systems, so I wont try, lol
hope this helps you out some
