Went by the dealer just to check if they had received any of the 05 Mustangs, no cars, but they had the 05 Mustang brouchures, I was only able to get one, must be going like hot-cakes. Brochures have some good pictures, no pricing options. Brouchure shows you can get the keyless entry (ie. the type ford makes where you key in a code above the door handle).

My salesman told me they expect the cars middle of next week.

Nice to have, anyone else gotten one yet?

I got one today we I ordered mines on the “X” plan. I noticed it also offer striped for the hood, top and rear deck. I think it was decal. My order was also put on hold because the dealer received a bulletin stating about the difficulty of filling the interior upgrade dream with the manual transmission package. I got the aluminum accent package with side airbags in the charcoal interior. He might be pulling leg and wants me to get the red interior also. I’m not sure

Remote Keyless Entry

I might be wrong about this, but when I orderd my '05 in May, my dealer (Weinman Ford in Chicago) told me that the "remote keyless entry" option referred to a remote control for your keychain that would lock/unlock the doors and turn the alarm on/off. He never mentioned a keypad above the door handles and I can't imagine marring the look of this car with that type of contraption. Were there any pictures or more details in the brochure?

The Keypad is a Dealer Installed Option, you can also get a connection for your cell phone that is bluetooth enabled and connects to your radio, that is a cool option.

well I will do the bluetooth thing, but this keypad is going to look guady...that's for the cruising cars, not the sports cars. However, I never heard anything about the hood, top, and tail stripes....I want them though

Silver/gray with white stripes

Any info on these stripes? I thought Ford wasn't going to do them.

All these options though.......I think even a GT is going to get a bit more expensive than I want it to be. Anyone know what people have been paying for loaded/almost loaded 5-speed GTs?

I would pay NOT to have that crap on my car.

Except for the stripes, but those stripes suck. Stripes either go over every last part of the car from front to back except for windows, or not at all.
