Hey guys thought I'd post up the videos of my three dyno pulls from yesterday. I didnt expect much out of the ordeal tho as I made some definete changes to the setup.

Old numbers with the old setup up thats in my sig plus 11.2:1 compression were

309rwhp
303rwtq

That setup peaked HP around 5700rpms and dropped off after that but peak torque was around 4600rpms.

The NEW setup has only 9:1 compression along with switching to the edelbrock intake manifold and dragon 100mm oval throttle body and upper plenum setup. She is setup up for forced induction now.

The NEW numbers were

304rwhp
282rwtq

Horsepower continued to pull all the way up to 6500rpms when they let off. Torqued peaked around 5000rpms.

I'd like to give alot of props to the guys at Dynospeed racing in memphis as they are the most helpful group of guys i've ever come across!! Joe and Forrest are top notch!

Here are the 3 vids.

Dude - I really want one of those Fox Lake intake manifolds. Their dyno sheets showed 17rwhp gained on a stock 4.6 motor. That's impressive. Price isn't bad if those are real gains. What do you think of that piece?

I've actually got the foxlake intake up for sale along with the CPR fuel lines and Accufab 75mm throttle body. I liked it alot I just wanted to try a different intake so I went with the edelbrock one.

Not bad numbers considering the drop in compression. Very nice!

That edelbrock manifold would have loved that high compression. Topped with some bigger cams. I would have liked to seen that combo

Do you have the dyno sheets to post? I would like to compare the hp and torque curves for each manifold even though the comp. ratio would have alot to do with it.

first, nice numbers...I was surprised to see how low your torque numbers were...I really thought they would be higher...I have similar mods to yours.....9.8:1 compression with 9cc dished pistons...and you can see my numbers...

I'd love to have that torque!! But my lower compression and Very short runner intake's(edelbrock) what killed all of mine!

the majority of people on here both 99+ and 98- models would love just to break the N/A 300hp barrier that you have accomplished. you should realize your accomplishments. you have a great ride with just as awesome dyno numbers

That's the first dyno comparison I've seen with the edelbrock manifold. I'm impressed how those short runners didn't lose any low end torque below 3k rpm and this is comparing it to the P51. With the same compression, it would have been the edelbrock all day.
