Got the Cobra Tuned!!!!!

Well as if you all have been reading my posts I have had alot of driveability issues after my head/cam swap. So I finally broke down and had it dyno tuned yesterday. Had it done at dyno tuned performance in chesapeake VA and boy was I happy. They used an SCT tune on the car and got it running perfectly!:nice: No more bucking, surging, or dying. I can idle at a light with the AC on max cool for forever and it idles rock solid at 1,000 rpm its amazing runs as smooth as stock:rolleyes: But I am really excited about the power gains. It got me 320rwhp and 350rwtq with my set up:flag: I love it and I can def. feel a huge difference, probably the best money I have spent. I suggest it to everyone.

It wasnt cheap but I was fed up with the car dying at every light with any strain on the motor (or sometimes with none at all). It was a little over 500 for the chip and 3 hours on the dyno being tuned. I was very happy with the results, no problems at all, wish I had done it sooner. And if I make any changes its only 75 per hour to re flash the chip. The biggest expense was the chip itself (A lil over 300 I believe)

Yes it is. They dyno ur car and burn a custom chip. Its the best way to go though I believe because I dont want to tune the car myself with tweecer or PMS. I'm not that computer savy. ont waste ur money on a mail order tune because unless the tuner has ur car on a dyno its not gonna be right. Thats my 2 cents.

I'll have to dig up the specs in my reciepts and get back to ya. But yea the guys that tuned it were extremely impressed for what I had done and so was I. They said guys with H/C/I dont usually make that much power and I still have the stock cobra intake.

Well actually I knew I wanted the 165 AFR heads and I called comp for a custom grind that would best suit my combo. They asked me a bunch of questions and told me which one to get and I got it. I guess they know their stuff cause the numbers dont lie.
