please let me know how lean this thing made you run before adjustments. i would like to get it, but dont have the time or money for a dyno tuning session right now. i dont want to damage my engine.

im deff interested to see the numbers also....ive had the ss on my stang for almost 2 months now and i deff felt a power increase but i seriously doubt it was the 25 advertised hp

*****UPDATE*****

well i went to the dyno this morning, but i didn't get to do any testing the guy that works the dyno had a heart attack last night i'm not sure when he'll be back, so i don't know when i can go back to do it. BUT the mustang dyno people are coming to update the dyno soon, & i've offered my car to be the test car, so we'll see how soon the come into town

i don't know if paul gets on here, but if you are paul, we are praying for you

Sounds like you'll get some real pro dyno's done from what zinc here has to
say for the place. So I'm sure we won't be seeing any AFR #'s or cfm's.
I'm looking at Mac's catalog and I doon't see any HP #'s on the Straight Shots

2634 Times nobody has that kind of contact with that many products !! I will Say past products used, most have been very good acc-fab,hotchkiss,world,tremec,
fluidyne,bear brakes,ebc pads,mc cloud clutchs and alot more from 20 years of MUSTANG,s! Plus some baaad products!!

your boss at MAC is going to be mad at you for looking like an idiot.

#1. just because i have 2636 posts (as of this post) doesn't mean every one is about a different product. that comment is just plain stupid.

#2. about 600 of those posts came from 4.6L talk when they were counted.

#3. the vast majority of those posts relate to superchargers, exhaust, suspensions, injectors, oils, thermostats, tires, pulleys, throttle bodies, cams, intakes, MAF's, gears, forged internals, and chips. all of which i have experience and/or knowledge of.

MAC's full line of products straight up suck anyways.....all they make is cheap crap. Their long tube headers are a joke. It seems like they rush everything into production without even looking at the performance and durability aspects of it.

I for one can say I've had ups and downs with Mac in the past. I do have a full Mac exhuast setup and yes, I do like it overall. My main complaint is the fact that it rusts way too easy. You constantly have to keep the rust off this thing and keep it painted with engine paint to prevent further rusting. As for fitment, well, all the parts seemed to fit and bolt up pretty good with no leaks.

I've also had a problem with a Mac 70mm throttle body. I couldnt get the throttle blade to close all the way on idle like it should. I even tried adjusting that throttle position screw and it did no good either. I called Mac and they weren't none to helpfull and the guy was very apprehensive about sending it back to them for them to even look at it. It's like he thought I was an idiot and I was just making this up. Yeah, I and even EEC DOC who has been messing with cars all his life are a couple of idiots who don't know what were talking about

I just decided not to even bother sending it in. Mac does have some good products I'm sure, but their customer service alone speaks horrible about them.

& 54life - this is the nicest cold air/maf i've ever seen, they did a really good job on it. i was amazed at the quality

dark knight, you are pretty right on about the headers, but now they came put with the "ceramac" coated ones & they are a really nice piece as well. whenever i do my tubular k-member i'm putting replacing mine with those

as far as customer service i've had nothing but good enteractions with them. when we installed my longtubes last time, there ended up being a weld that had cracked. we called them & they overnighted me another one to replace the defective part. so i guess it's just a day to day thing
