I just got my baby out earlier today and washed her up for a good bath. I didnt' unhook the battery when I parked her in sept. of 2004. Got in the car today and she fired right up on the first try without any hesistation. I couldn't believe it since I usually disconnect the battery. After warming her up a bit I revved it a bit and noticed some water spit out my exhaust. After a few revs, she was fine and so far hasn't does it. A little white smoke came with it, but then stopped. Could this be just from sitting and water just got into my exhaust?? I drove her around the block and she seemed to be fine. Just curious...I'll get pics up as soon as I can. Thanks guys!!

probably just a little condensation inside the cold exhaust pipes. If it does it again I would start worrying, but I mean come on man your car just started after sitting almost a year!!! What kind of super battery do you have? That is weird that it didnt lose its charge

I leave my truck sitting for up to 6 months at a time and my battery has never died. If there is nothing draining the battery, the only energy lost would be the heat resistance of the wires which is very minimal.

Killer, the electrical system test passed - now onto other issues. :)

the constant draw to keep the KAM lucid, stereo presets intact, etc can take down a healthy battery over the course a bit of time. you guys are doing really well. :nice:

really, I guess maybe the climate out here makes a difference then. If I let a battery sit on a shelf I have to charge it once a week or it falls below 12.6 volts. Also, My ultima red top died in my stang disconnected after a month... do I just get the worst batteries ever or what

It's just condensation and other crap that has accumulated inside the exhaust over the winter. Sometimes rust or black colored water will shoot out also.

It always happens to mine when i first fire it up, after a few hours though she's back to normal as everything gets moving again.
