I've got some pics of the intake, if someone wants to host them for me. Windows Vista once again has failed me.... Got to go out and measure the new alt brackets to see if it will work with the Procharger....

Thats a lot of crap for the money. I think 800 is REALLY reasonable now I see it.

The newest issue of 5.0 mustangs and super fords has dyno results for the Trickflow Track Heat intake. "The real deal is, by 6000 rpm, the stock manifold drops off to around 211 hp, while Track Heats horsepower figure is about 20 horses better at the same rpm." They also said it doesnt really change the air/fuel ratio, so there is no need for a tune. This was done on a bone stock 02 GT with 236rwhp. The only negative I see is between 3400 and 4300 rpms there is a little negative gain.

It looks like it has a bung above the #8 cylinder coolant port

Wow, moving that intake port to the back of the intake helped? On my NPI Cougar 4.6, it's like that; with the upper plenum intake on the back. I figured the upper plenum opening being in the center of the lower would be better.

I see 2 holes for 2 coolant sensors there...so does this mean it'd fit an NPI engine fairly easily??

More than likely yes, as im sure its is bassed on fitting a 99-04 car, but with adaptor plates/ pcv it should fit ok.

but how much is the bullit manifold?

I just saw this intake in the Summitt catalog I got a couple of days ago. I was wondering how much gain it would give thanks to this thread I now know.

Trickflow says it wont fit NPI cylinder heads.... this would be a wasted intake on stock npi heads... i would do a headswap first and THEN get this intake.

Works with a Procharger! Got some coolant leak issues to take care of first, so I haven't driven it yet. I have a dyno appt tomorrow:

Did you reuse the throttle body you already had or what did you do about that?

I had a BBK 75mm, and the opening in the intake is 75mm, so if you're upgrading to this intake, spend a little extra and get a t/b also.
