Hey guys... I'm selling my II. My 2005 Hyundai daily driver got stolen... police still haven't recovered it and I had full coverage but I was upside down on the car because it wasn't worth what we owed. So I'm not even sure if the insurance will pay it off all the way. And besides I'm in horrible debt other then that. Anyhow...

Very sorry to hear that Megan. I think you should still keep it, because you still need a car, right?

I really would hate to see you sell it, but if you have to, just remember it's just car. You can get another one later on when things are going better.

Oh, and I'd seriously consider buying the car if you came with it .

Trade in at a Ford dealership? You'll be lucky if they give you $200, and if you do trade it in, they will send it to the crusher (nothing against your car, but a dealership will see it as a piece of junk). Sorry to hear that you have to sell it.

OUCH!!!

Don't give it to the dealer, they aren't going to give you squat for it. I wish you luck sellin it (I hope you get the dollars you need and the car gets an owner that cares), and with life in general. That really, really bites.

The dealer actually offered me 1700 for the car. But the only thing they could give me in trade that they had on the lot was an 86 merc marquee... yeah right! Plus 800 dollars.... suuure....

Use the II. I've used mine as a driver many different times in it's life. Was my DD for almost 2 years about 3 years ago. It's already paid for, and I believe all the drivetrain issues have been handled, right?

I drive my II daily in the summer, It is a very reliable car. My Ghia V8 was my sole transportation for years. The great thing about a car you already own is you know what is wrong with it!! Drive the II everyday until your back on your feet. Chances are the extra money you spend on a different car would easily pay for the extra gas needed to feed a II in the short term.

Another idea:Keep the II and buy a really cheap other car. I bought a 93 Mazda 323 3 years ago for $500.00 and it is a very reliable car I used to commuted 2 hours a day in it!! It has 440000km on it now!

Note the flat black rattle can paint job and Moon disc hub caps were additional add-ons

Heres the EBAY Ad for him guys!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...m=300136277313&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=020

I would love to keep him and buy another car. BUT I have NO MONEY. I don't have a job and I'm starting school tomorrow. I have about 17,000 in debt now especially after the student loans I just took out. I am trying to start over with my life here. So without selling the II I have no money to buy another vehicle. My dad won't help me out. And I can't daily drive the II because of the cabin heat... it's 100 degrees here in Oklahoma every day and I'm very sensitive to the heat... meaning I get sick and almost faint... the car overheats in bad traffic due to no fan shroud.. and I live in Tulsa so I'm bound to run into traffic! And the heater doesn't work well in the winter. It's not practical and I never hardly drive it anymore anyway. I'll buy another classic pony whenever I'm well off. Oh the joys of being in my early 20's...

Well, bidding has ended, I wonder if anyone bought it?
If no one did, try to auction it again, it wouldn't be the first time someone bought on a second posting.
