Granada swap - how much? $

I've got a '66 coupe with the Granada swap (i think '78) spindles, rotors, calipers and brake line adapters that are currently on my stang that I am looking to sell to a friend of mine. (actually for his little brother's '65 coupe) So, how much do you think I should ask for these parts, granted he will be giving me his old spindles and drums. I'd like to help save up for the MustangSteve kit for 13" cobra brakes, but that's going to be after I get 17" rims (Mach1 or Bullit..?). I think I'll be saving some money this way, I hope.

Another friend suggested $300 - do you feel this is a fair price, priced too cheap, or priced too steep? I had bought everything new except the spindles & caliper mounting brackets back a year or so ago, and I've not put more then 2-5K miles on them. Garage kept vehicle... err project car. never ending project. anyway - thanks and goodnight

I'd say 250-300 would be fair since the parts are in working order.

The adapters to make the granada's work on a 65/66 are pretty spendy arent they?

I did my entire swap for around $125, and just picked up some spindles for $25.

so personally I wouldnt pay that much. But since its a bolt on without worrying about buying or finding any parts, I would guess you could get $200 for it.

i have $250 in parts in my granada settup, so $250-300 isnt out of line.

New user here- I am going to do some sort of front disc swap on my '67. How hard is it to find a Granada doner? The junkyard near me basically told me he had nothing. What parts should be scavenged from the doner and what parts should I buy new at the parts store? Thanks in advance for any advice.

depends on where you live rob.

You can pick up a running granada around here for under $200.

pull the spindles, sell the motor as a core for $75, and sell the tranny for $75. Then junk it.

or be patient and keep your eyes open. You can also use monarch spindles as well. I know of a few donors in the local junkyards. I would buy the set up, but I already have a couple.
