I purchased a Granatelli MAF for 24lb injectors and cold air tuning since some of my stock 19lb injectors are jacked up and I had the 24lbers laying around burning a hole in my garage shelf anyway. The meter showed up and it is alot bigger then the factory sized bolt pattern. I don't want to drop money on a CAI kit that wont fit. What have others went with?

I like the flangless setup better myself

It gives you more options to clock the meter

To my way of thinking ........
It is much more easy to rig up a home made CAI

I went with a flangless ProM 80 shorty meter
and
I did the home made CAI thing

Wish I would have myself! Guess Ill make myself a flange on the mill and fab something up. It angers me that they say nothing about this issue when you buy it, the instructions even say to simply bolt it into the factory housing and their website doesn't mention whether or not the cold air kit they offer if for the bigger bolt pattern or the smaller factory one...

I mean ... Just cause you got a flanged meter

It ain't the end of the world

I just gave my preference ... that is all

I've seen several folk say they found flanged adapters on the net
so
I don't think you would have to make such a device

Just search up some old CAI threads as there are tons of em

As for the OEM meter housing plastic thingee

Most don't use em

you can either go to autozone and pick up their plastic adapter flange or you can search google a little or ebay and find one for like 10-15 bucks
