Grease Fitting in Tie Rod Ends

Hey my inner tie rod ends are squeaky when I turn the wheel. Is there anyone out there that has put grease fittings in the tie rod ends? I cant afford to get new ones, so thats kind of out of the question. Anyone else have similar problems with them squeaking? If so how did you fix it?

i have the same problem. i plan on replacing my tie rods tomarra. i bought them from advance auto parts, hey where only like 38 bucks.

i had Ford replace mine since I don't have any tools to do it here in MA
cost way too much.

A friend of mine had the same problem on his 96 GT (squeaky tie rods). A guy at one of thel local alignment shops cut a small hole in the rubber boots and pumped them full of grease. He says they haven't squeaked since.
