gears grind when its only cold and when i get in the car and take off. it does it just about every gear but not like bad. and the clutch will be all the way in but when the car warms up it will be fine.

i was wonderin if i should be worryin about it or not but the engine and trans is past its prime

not really sure but i got a 96gt with 164000 miles on it and drive 50-90 miles a day and its all stock and went to the track the last day open and my best run that night was 14.8 with traction problem. best run all stock was 14.5 the car is still fast

My best time is what is in my sig, 14.68. That is at a density altitude of 3900ft. Corrected to sea level it would be a 13.6 according to modular depot. I still have a lot of room for improvement, I had major traction issues this past year and have just bought Nitto drag radials to help that out. Hopefully that will help pull my times down quite a bit. I haven't had a chance to run with most of my mods yet. I'll have to wait until the track opens again in may.

o ok i went to the track a few times i went to milan dragway in michigan but i dont know the alt. or anythin but my best was 14.5 with 2.0 60' all stock which ive heard that it is very good for being stock

Those sound like very good times to me for stock. Your 60ft aren't that great which will gain you et if you can get them down. They are still better than mine. My best 60ft is 2.239 which is brutle. You sound like you are having traction issues as well. Good luck and keep practicing, that's what I need to do. The sad thing is is that most stock 03 GT's and 04's aren't even getting into the 14's at my track. The best I saw was a 15.08. Our track has terrible prep. Oh, well it sure is a blast and a lot safer than street racing. Have fun. Hope you figure out what's going on with your tranny, I need to get mine looked at. :nonono:
