GT-350.....S ??

I recently got an uber mustang history book for a graduation present and when I was flipping through it, they had some variations of some of the shelby cars.

one of them was the GT-350S, they said only one car was made and it rolled out of the factory with a supercharger installed by carrol shelby.

has anyone ever heard of this car? I'd be interested to find the lucky sucker thats got it!

There may have only been one done by Shelby, but since the Paxton centrifugal supercharger kit was available over the counter, there were more than a few built. My former boss used to have a '67 GT350 (#005) that he installed a Shelby Paxton blower on and street raced it for a few years. I'm pretty sure the Paxton kit is still produced, and like most blowers, makes a small block perform just like a big-block.
