Gt hood scoop installation

I am going to put my friends old gt hoodscoop on my 2000 v6. He has a 2001 gt,so the hood scoop will still fit right? If so how do i go about installing this on my car if it is already painted and everything?

hopefully it still has the bolts on it. You will have to mark the holes you need to drill on the hood somehow, this part is key to get it jsut right. I had my holes spaced out a lil bit too much and the scoop never sat right. It is really easy to do, just make sure to get the holes right. I had to drill two access holes in the rear suport beam under the hood, but nothing major.
