GT hood scoop on standard v6 hood?

Hello folks,

Hate to have a question like this as my first post here but, unfortunately a search turned up nada.

At any rate, anyone know if I can simply bolt a GT hood scoop on top of a standard V6 hood?

it's a 2002 of course, similar to this one:

But without the bra

What do I need other than the scoop and mounting holes drilled? Will it simply cover the hood's current fake indent scoop or do I need the entire GT hood?

Any help is appreciated.

As far as I know it is a bolt on. 7 holes and 3M tape. A gt hood is a v6 with just a higher scoop. and it fits over the factory honeycomb area because it comes with a larger one to make up the difference.
