GT or BULLITT

I have just purchase a 2001 ford mustang the vin number has it being a bullit edition but it has none of the bullit features.can someone help me with this its a nice car non the less just looking for some anwsers thank to anyone that may have it the anwser that is,u can also email me at tasavolion@yahoo.com do not know how often i will be on this site.

VIN #? and if its not blue, black or green you dont got a bullitt. Intake, Different trim inside, gauges, shift knob, black leather interior... main things..

thanks for the response it is black and when i run the vin # it says thats its a 2001 ford mustang bullit.but it has gt badges on it dunno but will figure it out once again thanks

Lets see some underhood,interior,and exterior pics. From what I understand (I used to own an 01 Bullitt) you could not tell from the VIN# that its a Bullitt. It should have a Bullitt production # on the Driverside strut tower.

yes i will put up some pics but maybe i have been reading my carfax and dmv reports wrong,i just notice it says ford mustang bullit/gt does that mean anything. btw i wanna start some upgrades where should i start its my first stang have always been camaro guy just time for a change.

i think when you run the vin on gt's AND bullits they all say the same thing...gt/bullit

Sorta the same with me. My insurance has my 95 GT as 1995 Mustang GT/GTS.

thanks guys for all the help and info on how to modify my car,i think that u r all right its not a bullit.thats just the way it comes up when i run the vin but i am still loving my gt,can not wait to start my mods on this baby.

if you had a bullitt the guages would be different, as would the seats and some other small accessories. Plus you'd have a medal intake instead of teh plastic one.
