trying to mount these on my LX... is there a mount or some kind of channel at the very edge of the door that these slide into? i mounted the bottom but the top of the moudling doesnt even come close to matching.
I think that 3M sells a double sided adhesive strip just for this type of application. Just make sure the suface is prepped first and it should stick forever.

Yes there is, it's a brass colored channel that runs the length of the door and 2 of the same on the front fender... they're pop rivetted into the fender/body.

i have fenders from a GT and they have that little channel. i could probably just measure the channel and such and duplicate it. then put some double sided tape on it while its on the skirt, then stick it to the car, and rivet it on from there. w00t.
i just bought some 1" aluminum strips from home depot, used my vise and a hammer to bend em a little to accept the channel on the skirt, and then used a bunch of self tapping screws and some silicone on the side of the car to attach it. slid the skirt into the channel with some silicone to hold it in place, and then attached the bottom to the bottom of the car with some more screws and silicone to seal em up. worked good. when i tap the skirt with my knuckles it sounds like the fender, nice and sturdy.
