I plan on doing this to my Fox Mustang, but figure i would get better response from this board.

I plan on converting my current GT rear disk setup to the larger Cobra setup using this kit

I know i have to reuse my GT varga rear calipers. WHat modification needs to be done to the caliper bracket to fit the Cobra rotor? I take it I will need to grind a little bit away to widen it?

I am aware i will need to get Cobra pads.

Because the calipers are the same, only the mounting brackets are different.

I'm pretty sure you can open them up with a grinder but wondering if anyone else has done it before??

you need to purchase the cobra mounting brackets. They are longer then the gt mounting brackets raising the caliper to accomodate the larger rotor...and you will need cobra pads or some worn down gt pads will work also.
