GT40 Heads

The GT40 heads on the explorers (95-97, not the later ones with the "P" heads) are the same as the ones on the 93-95 Cobra, right? I am 99% sure they are, but I thought I'd double check.

Also does anyone know where I can find a write up on how to drill the thermactor holes on a set of GT40Ps?

THe Cobra heads are basically the same, intake valves are both the same diameter, the exhaust however on the GT40P heads is 1.46 on the Cobra heads are a little larger at 1.54. The GT40P heads flowed 193 at .600 lift and thats stock. The Cobra heads flowed 196 @ .600lift. Those numbers are on the intake side by the way. Other that that i dont know the difference.

i think the cobra gt40 head has a larger combustion chamber. and i know they had 1.7rr and the exploders had 1.6rr
