I am getting a set of GT40ps off of an explorer. Before I go and put everything on the car I want to make sure that everything is done right as it is my daily driver and I don't want to screw it up. So my big questions about the valve springs, I will be running an e cam and 1.6 roller rockers. I figure that I will need to change the springs and am looking for suggestions. Do I need to get a kit that has new springs, retainers and locks or can I just change the springs out? The heads have about 60k on them. Also should I have a valve job done or just change the springs and go?
