I just pick up a set of these heads and want to see what numbers others are getting with them. I have been researching these heads for a while and have seen people getting up to 300rwhp with them. I want to compose a thread where people list their set up, dyno numbers and 1/4 mile times. If your info is in your sig just post "look at sig". Thanks.

Best run to date is a 14.02@100.2.

Check the sig for mods. I have a 3000 rpm stall converter that should be going in the car soon. The stocker is killing my times.

Ive ran 13.7 at 100 on street tires. Im going back this weekend with new plug wires, plugs and a switch to synthetic oil. Also switched jets in the carb. My combo has alot left in it, but the stock valve springs are killing me right now. Once I get those changed and hopefully a performer rpm intake or air gap. I think it will pick up a ton. The stock springs make the car nose over at around 5200rpms and this combo should pull nice and easy to almost 6.

(My dads NMRA set up car)

Stock bottem end (honed), stock cam (4 degrees retarded), GT-40Ps (unported, milled to 52 cc, valve job and better 1.84/1.54 valves, as well as rockers), Cobra intake, 70mm TB, 75mm MAF, FMS shorties, Prochamber, Hooker mufflers, Proshifted T5 (2.95 first gear), 4.30s, all the suspension and drivetrain goodies...

Before the milling, proshifted tranny, and a few other small things the car made 286/320 and went 12.11 @ 110 on slicks. After all the work the car has been 12.25 @ 112 on 275/60 DRs with a HORRIBLE 60' time. Its funny as both times I was driving the car, but it should be 12.0s or 11s this season!

I used to have an sc trim on my combo last year pushing around 8#s of boost. On the 99k mile shortblock it was putting down 380hp at the wheels on a mustang dyno.

Mine should go 12's by the end of this summer if not this weekend. Ive made a few changes. put new plug wires on my others had at least 10 holes burnt in them when i went 13.7. changed rear jets to 71's from 74's as it was running rich. set timing to 36* total and I have slicks this time. I really just want it to show the mph. Should be around at least 108 with what i have. Stock valve springs are still killing me though i know. Ill update Saturday once i get back from the track.

orangecapri, what rockers are you running. if you have 1.6's i doubt the springs are hurting performance. from what i have read in the past you could really go up to .530 on stock springs. im at .529 with no problems. if you have 1.7s then get those new springs asap.

New times

Went to the track last night and finally sprayed the 93. Here are my times with 50 shot. I'll go higher but I just don't trust the stock pump and will swap it out soon

New times...

7.481 in the 1/8th which is maybe an 11.7 or so...

Car is basically the same as above with a set of 26x11.5 ET Streets!

Look for some 11.8-11.9s next season and 10s on a bottle...
