Don't think i've ever seen a normal person that got 300rwhp with them, in fact, i've seen nothing even close. When i say "normal" i mean a guy that's not building a car to fit into a race class, and is willing to spend what it takes.

300rwhp is going to cost you way more than they are worth in head work.
Use them for what they are, and when you need more power sell them them and buy something better.

They are a mid/low 13 head.

best time with mods in my sig without the heads is 13.3. Hoping for high 12's now. Cars not running how id like it to after the head swap. Make sure you get the heads looked over and change out anything that needs to be changed like valve seals, etc.

Not sure exactly what my dads GT40Ps cost, but I know its right around $1000. Its no TFS or AFR head, but does alright. Also did not made 300 to the tire, only put down 292 on a 90+ degree day!

We just threw the 292 rwhp GT40P motor into my brothers daily beater, so we will see what a regular street car with stock suspension and 3.55s does with this motor!

well guys, I haven't been on in a while, I'm still finishing up the port work on my gt40p's. It's my first time to do p/p work and its going really well so far. I should finish next month, I'll prolly be bringing this thread back from the dead once I get results....

oh, and awesome time slips, everyone!

I still can't get over the power these "junkyard" heads can make with a little work.......I can't wait to get mine together.
