Engine GT40P with internal EGR GT40 Manifold?

Hello all,

I have a GT40 upper and lower intake that has the internal EGR (97 Explorer I believe). I was looking at getting GT40 or GT40P heads. My question is; can I get GT40P heads? Do I have to match the "P" heads to the manifold that offers external EGR?

do you presently run the EGR? If not doesn't matter. If yes, then you want to get 3 bar GT40 heads with the holes.

I think you are referring to the air pump passages which are not drilled on the
Gt40Ps.

The 40ps do have the egr provision on them, although I'd still rather the GT40 heads over the GT40P just to avoid the extra cost of special headers.
