GT's with visible tailpipes

anyone got some pics of there or others gt 5.0 with tailpipes......i would like to know if a cobra rear bumper is worth it!!! i do think the oem gt rear bumper is too low to justify some tailpipes but thats what i want to see

i used to have them under my gt bumper and they scraped the road everywhere

That GT looks pretty mean. Is that "gas cap" a chop? It looks strange.

yea it's where the tag normaly goes, Is it a chop?????

You have to buy special tail pipes, the LX won't work well

Tough to see it well but they look great with LX pipes.

Here's a pic of mine. These are just custom mandrel bent 2.5" tails. I really like the look...i hate GT's with those turned down tails.

Yeah, I chopped that. I wanted to see what a little 'modernization' could do. I kinda like it.

I'm not sure...I just got it off of the I-Net. I think they're LX pipes though. Maybe a bigger pic will help...

That looks like the new 3" Flowmaster kit. The tailpipes are bent differently to accomodate wider rear tires like that.

You would think with such a nice car, the guy would do something about the bumper turnin black above the tips

Longer pipes will get rid of the black bumper issue. It looks like those are about an inch, inch and a half back, flush or sticking out a little will get rid of that.

The other option would be to paint the car black

edit: The blue GT is right where they should be. IMO sticking out looks goofy.
