Guaranteed 2 Pass does work

That makes more sense. When I asked about it before, it didn't sound like you were having stalling issues really, which you really should have with a tune set-up for emissions and EGR open constantly.

That's some cool info above - the folks that delete the EGR will appreciate it. I'm not sure how it worked out but............ :p

Why would one delete the EGR? what is the benefit? i guess i'm kinda lost... please, somebody explain!

techinically speaking, the only *positive* effect of deleting the egr is to make it look a lot better in the engine bay/ make it easier to do certain work.

dont be lost. hang on tight while i give you some info that you can even tell your buddies!:D

- EGR is for NOx emissions. It replaces air with inert (neutral) gas during CRUISE.

- It doesnt open at idle, WOT, or Open loop (if working properly of course)

- It helps with gas mileage as well, along with lower combustion chamber temps... (thats how it reduces NOx - a byproduct of 2500* blah blah blah)

now go! tell everyone!

but seriously, i hope you are on track now, gangsta:nice:

I deleted my EGR basically beacuse it throws a code and causes my CEL to come on. By bypassing it I get no CEL... Basically i am too cheap to spend the $$ into an EGR when the whole car needs some attention, why save an unknown longblock.....
