My friend wants to run those in the back of his 69' mach1 on some Halibrand cobra III's deep lip wheels and wants to know how wide in inches are the tires.because he is trying to figure out fitment issues. Thanks in advance.

I have 10.5" rims for my 315-35-17 tires. You should be able to get the 315's on a 10" rims. Getting a 315 inside the fender well of a 69 Mach I will be tight, definatly have to roll the fender lip.
Good luck.

Ok is a 315/35/17 exactly 10.5 wide measuring the rubber at it's widest point or is it a bit more cuz I have 9in cobra R's and 275's are just a bit wider at the sidewall than 9 inches. I guess what he's looking for info wise is he knows the wheel is 10.5 wide is the tire any bigger is it 11 inches or 10 3/4 inches at it's widest point. Thanks again

Here are mine on 17x11 TTII's,

You might want to check out the classic sec. as the wheel well of the older cars will prob. have to be changed to fit a 315 in back, unless you jack the h3ll out of the rear and have tires stick out about 4-6in from the rear quarter.
