guys who hid their wires, in here please

i have everything from the passenger side disconnected and have un-routed ( if thats a word) all the way around to the fuse box on the driver side.

does anyone have any tips on how to get the fuse box under the fender? or is there a way to disonnect it from the harness?

also would someone post pics of how they have their harnesses under their fenders, on both side? just trying to get an idea of what to do once i re-route the harnesses.

one more thing, i'm clueless on what to do with the harness that run along the firewall? how do i hide that?

the more pics the better.

No way to disconnect the fuse box from the harness. You have to pull the entire harness and reroute it. I hid the wires in my engine bay, but I left the fuse box in the engine bay. Start here and follow the link at the bottom to the second thread.

thanks for the link. to tell you the truth, i never checked your thread out about the cobra conversion and i kind of regret it. i thought to myself, i have a cobra i ain't going to see anything new. but wow you put in some work. my hats off to you.

but i would still like to move the fuse box out of the engine bay. i want to hide as much as possible. and this is where i'm stuck.

another question. i wanted to run the harness through the bumper support, and not back over the rad. will it be long enough to reach the connectors on the passenger side?

that's different, but i'm not really in the mood to put my battery in the trunk,since you have to have a cut off switch mounted on the rear of the car if you want to run it at the track. and i just haven't found a setup that i either like, or if i like it, i don't like how i have to out a hole in the back of the car. so i'm planning on running one of those small dry cell and just mounting it to the side in the same location of the stock battery. so that wouldn't work.
i really like the rez in the rail that real creative.

Well, I had to extend the harness because I wanted the fuse box in the stock location. Since you're moving it, run the wires where you want to and you'll know where the fuse box has to go. However, you'll likely have to extend the wiring for a lot of things such as the headlights and a bunch of other connectors.

i got some more time to mess with it tonight.

i was able to get the fuse box into the fender without enlarging the hole where the washer fuild is, like some people have said in other threads. it was easier than i thought, it just took longer to figure it out than to do.
i didn't get a chance to mount the fuse box behind the fender cause it started to get late and i have to work sunday. spent some time trying to figure out where and how. figured out where, but mounting it with the same bracket will be a tricky, but do able.
it now reached the back of the corner light so i don't think i'll have a problem with it reaching the other side. i don't think i'll be able to route it through the bumper, so it looks like i'll have to cut some metal like Chythar did to his.
my camera doesn't like up loading pics to my computer, so i'm sorry i can't post pics.

We put my fuse box under back by the washer fluid reservoir. a lot of the harnesses go around the front bumper, but behind it. I dont have pics but we had to lengthen several of the wires to make everything fit. I used Leaded Solder from Radio shack, some 16 and 18 gauges wires, a little butane torch and LOTS of heat shring tubing!!
