I went to the shop today to work on my engine so that I save some cash....well we got the whole engine assembeled(heads, cam, valvetrain, lower intake) and we realized the cam could shift back......we looked at an exploded view of the cam and saw that the back bearing has a second bearing right behind it to keep the cam from walking.....well we realized the machine shop sent the engine back with only 4 bearings (missing the one in bewteen the freeze cap and the last cam bearing) ....we had to disassemble the whole engine again to get the cam out and tap the freeze cap out (ready to KILL someone).....does anyone know the part number for this bearing? Thanks.....I am ready to kill someone in case I didnt already say.........f****** machine shop

Yea, call the machine shop back up and make them replace it for you. Theres no since in you having to buy a new one because of one of their mistakes. Ready to sell the car yet? Give you $1000 how it stands right now :D:D:D

lol I would think about the thousand but my bills for the damn thing stil wouldnt be paid to the shop:( .....yea I am pretty sure he will throw the bearing in but its a hassle to tear it apart then put everything back together not to mention bringing the engine to him.......set me back another 3 days minimun cuz I cant get it to him for a few days (no truck and gotta work)
