Where did you guys run the yellow wire in the kit too? The one that is to be connected to an ignition source. Is it possible to connect it to the red/green wire on the ignition coil? I now have it to the the radio on the fuse box, but I would like to have it connected somewhere in the engine bay. Thanks for any info.

I put mine on the 12 volt feed to the low coolant level sensor.

Good luck.

I ran mine up to the coil + terminal and soldered it in...........with a pull-apart in-line splice terminal in the wire to disconnect it if I want to change.........

is that the wire that tells the fan to shut off when the car isn't running? I didn't hook mine up. My fan usually runs for 30 sec after the car is shut off and then it goes off after the temp cools. Never any problems for me.

Here is what I found - I ran mine like that too. When I pulled the battery to replace it, the fan came on when I put the + cable on the new battery and would not go off no matter how many times I cycled the ignition switch - and this was with a cold engine. As soon as I disconnected that yellow wire, it stopped.

Maybe a quirk of the controller.
