Casually working on a motor rebuild project on an extra engine in the garage. The motor is a 94/95 302 and will go into a 94 GT Droptop that is a daily driver. The current parts list that I have either on the garage floor on in the mustang presently are as follows: Thumper E7 heads, 94/95 Cobra Intake manifold (Anybody know where I can get it polished?), underdrive pulleys, K&N filter, off road H pipe. Additional modes under consideration for the project is a C & L MAF setup for 24#, new injectors (24#), Equal Length Headers, 3:73 gears, then have a chip done somewhere. Also thinking about a Tmoss port job on the Cobra Lower.
The question is that I'm looking at what cam to switch to since I have the motor on an engine stand. The two I am considering from FRPP are the B303 and the E303, presently leaning toward the B303. Haven't researched other companies yet and would appreciate any suggestions/specs or feedback from others who may of used these cams. The droptop will see regular driving duties for a while longer and even when I get a beater car, it still will not see anything more serious than a Test and Tune every so often along with the occassionally stoplight stupidness.
