H/C/I or supercharge?

I have a 94 vert and I do mostly street driving and I am looking to upgrade w/ my tax return next year. My question is should I do H/C/I or just add a supercharger? I am not looking for a 1/4 monster just a little more get up and go. I would like to see low 13's and maybe high 12's but most of my time would be on the streets. I am worried about the reliability factor and I realize that it goes down w/ every performance mod but which one would give me more headaches? My motor has 78,xxx miles and I'm not sure if it will stand up to the charger...what do you guys think?

get an H/C/I. It then opens the doors for more stuff. Once you do the H/C/I you'll be satisfied for a while but you'll want more. Adding a blower to a stock engine is all fun but it limiting. Go with the H/C/I and get some nice all the time power, and then you can slap a blower on for extra fun

I understand where your going with this setup but I want either one or the other. I don't plan on dumping money it this thing for the rest of my life but instead pick a goal and be satisfied. Like I said I don't want a 1/4 monster just a nice running mustang with a little get up and go. which one would do that for me with the least headaches?

What 95gtv8 said. If you plan on upgrading get the HCI, but if you dont think you will, the supercharger might be a better idea.

turbocharge it, and leave the engine stock.. forget about 12's-13's.. PM me if you want to go fast, lol.

Supercharge it! Change the intake, MAF, upgrade the fuel system, and put a set of headers on. You should have plenty of power for the street. Then later, build a motor for the S/C if your still looking for more. 78,000 is nothing for the S/C.

I would go with a supercharger, you'll get the overall boost your looking for with more reliability than changing the entire long block. Plus they sound badass. and I have a friend that put a ATI procharger on his 94 stang that had 91,000 miles on it. That was almost a year ago and it's still running strong without any problems

20new5.0...does your friend have any numbers(dyno or track) w/ his ATI? I have looked around and if I do go w/ a charger that would be the one.

If I were doing no other mods I would supercharge. But as most I'll be doing h/c/i then I'll s/c

Supercharger most definitely.

more power, more instant gratification

upgrade heads cam later, and possibly an aftermarket block at the same time... then crank the boost up without fear and make 450-550

supercharger, but eather way will work. its personal prefence i would say.. Im happy with mine
