What does everyone recommend for a Cat equipped X or H pipe that is going to be left on the car year round? Im looking for something free flowing and low profile because the car is lowered and I dont want to be bottoming the cats out. Please keep price in mind, im willing to spend money but I dont want to drain the wallet. Thanks

I heard that the X pipe will sound great and give more HP

The H pipe is supposed to sound more throaty like the old pushrod v* should. X= more exotic sounding. Have heard X's described as sexy at WOT

I installed a Bassani x-pipe w/cats this last spring, and a Bassani cat back, had a BBK h-pipe, and Flowmaster American Thunder cat back. I'm very happy with the Bassani cat back and the x-pipe.

I installed BBK X pipe with flowmaster 40 series muffler cat back, also I installed BBK shorties.

The sound is very neat, and I get compliments all the time. It sounds "exotic" as mentioned before, much more high pitched like the 4.6 than a throaty sound.

There is also a nice metallic sound that is hard to explain, I need to get a sound clip up soon.

I bought the BBK X pipe with cats from CJponyparts.com for $400.
