H pipe or X pipe?

I just put on FFRP gt stingers and I was looking to get an x pipe, when I heard that an x pipe will case my car to loose the deep burble exhaust note. I wanted to know what is the best opinon; either h pipe or x pipe to free up power however not loosing that deep tone. I also herard h pipes can become very crackey? Any info is appreciated.

An x pipe will give a couple or a few hp increase over an h pipe. Not enough to worry about. I prefer the sound of an h pipe because I dig the low end fatter tone. An x pipe will give a more cracky or raspy tone which I personally do not like.

i just had my mrt h pipe installed with pypes violators and it just sounds awesome

Has a much deeper note than any of the x's ive heard
