I was trying to follow one of the Maximum Motorsports suspension package -- so I installed Tokico Illuminas and H&R race springs. After a year or so of rough ride -- I was wondering if anyone is running the Sport Springs an a convertible.
Caldwell is running the H&R SuperSports, and factory shocks and struts. He loves them and gave his car a real nice stance. I was going back and forth for about a year on what suspension parts, and almost went with the H&R Race as recommended by MM for Verts. I ended up with the Eibach Pro Kit and Bilsteins and very happy with my choice. Would like to have seen alittle more drop but I will fill the gap with some 18's soon. Do a user search for Caldwell here, he has lots of pics posted, and his opinion on the SuperSports. Its hard to find a good spring package for Verts. Are your Illumina's not able to handle the springs?? I have heard a couple ppl have had luck with H&R Race springs and "R" rated Bilsteins. That might be your ticket.
