H&R Sports vs. H&R Super Sports

Is there that big of a difference between the two?

According to the maximummotorsports.com the H&R Sports drop 1.6 inches in the front and 1.5 inches in the back. The Super Sports drop 1.75 inches in the front and 1.6inches in the back. The Super Sports are only $10 more.

The springs rates are different too. I don't know what is the spring rates mean. Can anyone help me out?

Sports: 490-575 front, 205-250 rear
Super Sports: 700-760 front, 275-300 rear

super sports are lower, as low as a 2inch drop.

Well a spring rate is is in poundage. x amount of weight compresses the spring 1 inch.

the higher the number the stiffer the spring.

these are both variable rate springs so as you compress it more it gets harder to compress.

the SS will have a lower and harsher ride to them. I went with them because the ride hieght on the mustang just sucks. way to high.

If having a better ride is more important than being lower you may want the sports.

I might go with the Sports then since the ride quality should be better. Also, according to the website, there is only about a tenth of an inch difference in height.

Thanks for the pics. I will most likely get the Sports. I like the idea of a less harsh ride.

the advertised drops are only with using urethane isolators.

lower. That's why you see people getting over 2 inch drops with the SS.
