h&r springs pinion bumper

Hi I just installed some h&r ss lowering springs on my 2002 gt it came with a replacement rear axle rubber bumper. My question is what is this for? Is it better than my stock pinion bumper?? Should I definatly replace my stock one immediatly or what??? Thanks guys iv heard they were to keep you car from bottoming out

The bumper is shorter than the stock piece so it will allow more travel. If you leave the stocker in place, you will lose an inch or so of travel (and the ride will be poorer as a result). So, slide under the car and install that H&R bump stop and then enjoy the new handling.

HTH,

Chris
