Has anyone got the H&R super sports witha bassini X pipe with cats,
My X pipe seems to hang alot lower then the stock and with the H&R's I only have about 4 1/2" between the ground and the cat?
Is this clearance the norm with any others?
Thanks

I read an article on the Corral along time ago about the X pipe hanging low. I sent an e-mail to Bassani and they were all like "that's an old article and we have made changes" I doubted they made any changes that would affect the pipe hanging low.

How long have you had the H&R's and do you bottom out the rear axle on the frame bumpers alot?
I think I need to shave the bumpers down a 1" or so...
What's your thoughts

Prolly about 2 years, I dont bottom out on the rear axle, I mostly bottom out on my Mid pipe(The middle of the X to be exact)....I also really have to be careful when going over speedbumps. I woudl leave the bumpers alone, no shaving is necessary. Just be a little more cautious.

Well, you are riding higher than me! There are 3.5" from the garage floor to the bottom of the cat on my car (VRS x-pipe, Steeda Sport springs).

Not a problem, you just have to slow down before you drive over speed bumps.
