It hasn't seen day light since July of 2007. I drove it out in the parking lot, but not down the street. I have a few things I have to do, and the biggest, is the brake system is still not right. I have brakes, but their not right. I will bleed them again Monday, but I still can do other work till then.

Here are the pics, and more to come tonight and tomorrow. Keep tuned in to this thread.

Thanks. Yeah, the wheels are on there to see what I like better. I don't think I like the Bullits anymore. They need to be chrome. I like the 97 Cobra wheels, but now that I can take more than two steps away from the car, I need to get 05+ wheels for the back. More tire needs to be under the car.

Thanks..... yeah That's about it. My friend at work stayed after with me. We bled them 2 more times..........this time cycling the key on each opening of the bleeder screw. You could here selenoids in the ABS system clikcing on and off. Also, I noticed I was getting more old, dirty looking fluid out of the lines too. I went through 1 quart of Prestone DOT 3 fluid. I also noticed a got some air bubbles out of the front. The pedal feels better than it did. So....now....

tighten motor mount bolts, hook up oxygen sensors, tighten LCA bolts, Lock-tite the driveshaft bolts, install door panels, locks, speedo bezel and defrost trim...(after I modify them)

And of course I will have to put new brake pads and rotors, and paint wheel wells and other stuff...but that is another day. Today is cut short due to the fact that I have to put a ball joint in my 97 F150 today....I have been putting it off.

Looks awesome but something about the tail lights doesn't look right to me..i can't put my finger on it.

I see what you're seeing as well. Maybe its the angle but it almost seems like the decklid doesnt line up with the quarter panels, and that the tail lights kind of angle themselves downward towards the rear bumper causing a gap thats too large.

Anyways, very very well done. I'm eager to see it complete. Nice work.

Yeah, the tail pipes are huge and the rightside is at an awkward angle. The H-pipe is also hanging lower than I want it. I have my buddy who owns an exhaust/metal fabbing shop who is gonna get everything fitting better. He does amazing work. He is also welding in subframe connectors while it's there. The decklid isn't lined up yet. The latch is finger tight and I haven't adjusted the striker for it either. It will be all lined up when I get the inside of the trunk finished. I still have to do trunk carpet, mini spare, jack etc.... Plus, that is an aftermarket decklid from www.50resto.com It is a royal peice of China crapsmanship. :rlaugh: It is very wavy, so if any of you plan on getting one...and you car is black....beware.

Thanks...I will update with interior mods tomorrow in this thread. I am just about to finish up with the ball joint on my truck. No more squeak for me. I have to do all the susp on that pig. The upper balljoint is bad too I noticed from taking it all apart. Looks like I'll never get a break this summer.

Man, everybody is showing up for this one!! Thanks a lot I appreciate it!

I drove it around the yard today. The brakes are getting better. It seems ok for now, I'm sure I am going to find something when I get it on the smooth road though. I already hear a squeak behind the dash. After I get the interior in and the car done, I will take it out. I might just hear the loose stuff hanging in the interior bouncing around....I just got anxious. Well, I'm calling it a night guys, I'm beat now. Been here since 9am with only a few hours sleep and too many beers last night. Thank you all!!!! :D

P.S. The dash blows my mind too. I look in there, from far away now...(because it's outside) and it's really noticeable. Also...about the widening wheels thing....thanks....I was really thinking about that. It is called Weldcraft. If you don't have their number...here it is. 734-420-2211.
