had this ever happen to you...

i saw something today regarding my fog light, you know that thing in the center of the lamp its like a guard for the light bulb i believe.. completey fell off the housing, i did replace the factory bulbs but that was about 6 mos. ago. i'm assuming its factory deffect! so now i have that thing sitting against the lense, is that thing just glued on there or what.

the fog lights are known to cause problems when changing to after market bulbs. the black center piece falls off.

Had that happen on the V6 I used to have that I added a GT grill and foglights to.
I don't think you can fix it. I think you have to replace it.

Possibly another reason for me to eliminate mine. My passenger side burned out last December, but I never replaced it. Perhaps that could've happened to me as well. Are you taking it to the dealer?
