so i think this will finally put my car into the 11s. Ill get pics up tonight or tomorrow. Its an 8.8 that has been straightened and braced, welded axle tubes, 33spline superior axles, 33spline moser spool, 3.73s and upper and lower spherical bushing fully adjustable upr control arms. I got all of this assembled for 1000$. They came off of my friends 91 fox that has been 8.20s on this rearend only reason he sold it is because of class rules made him jump to a 9 inch

sounds like a nice start but 11's from a 12.88? thata a big jump. I hope you do it. You may need a little more power to get you there however.

I have this same setup in my 85', it's bullet proof. Only problem with 33 spline is paying under $700 for a posi if you don't like the spool.

i would say that you will not like the spool on the street. it maybe neat to start with but the looks people will be giving you in parking lots because your always sqwacking the tires will get annoying.
