I have an '03 GT 5 speed with about 40,000 miles. While shifting the revs, instead of falling smoothly seem to "blip" at about 1,500 or 2,000 rpms. It is almost like I tap the gas while the clutch is in. It makes the shifts less smooth and is quite annoying. No codes or check engine light. Where do I start?

I just searched "Hanging rev's" and found what you are talking about. It sounds like a tune issue... SCT should fix it???

Nah, mine still does it even after being cammed and tuned.

I forgot the correct term, but there is a gasket you can make yourself to replace the factory one that will eliminate this

I'm feeling to lazy to do anything about it now. I'll just live with it if it isn't hurting anything!
