Hard Brake Pedal - how hard is normal?

my brake pedal is pretty hard to push down. its been like that ever since I can remember - problem is I don't know what normal is anymore. I've got all new brakes (mm brake upgrade kit, new mc,.......).

I know fox brakes are known to be pretty bad, but mine seem a little worse than that. I'm pretty sure my power booster is holding vacuum.

the brakes were pretty much the same before and after doing the work. I've been driving around for years with the stiff pedal feeling, and I just want to make sure that what I feel is normal fox brakes, and not a problem with the system.

any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

My brakes on the stang are harder than my 99 ranger and most other cars i've driven. Not near as hard as the clutch tho lol.

its just strange how my heavier mini-vans (nissan quest, caravan) can stop so much easier than the mustang. Those brakes are easy to push on, but the mustang I find myself practically standing on the pedal to get it to stop quickly.

Yeah, all in the design of the brakes I guess
