Hard Starting 94 GT

Have a 94 GT and is very hard to start with the MAF hooked up. After you start it and re-connect the MAF it runs great, just won't start with it hooked up. Took it out and cleaned it still same thing, is the MAF junk or is something else wrong that I may have overlooked?? Please help!!!! Thanks

Start by pulling codes, and go from there.

Just because there is no Check Engine Light, doesn't mean you don't have a soft code.
